Title: Distributed Systems – the next level in large-scale ecosystems

Dr. Dustdar is a Full Professor of Computer Science heading the Research Division of Distributed Systems at the TU Wien, Austria. He holds several honorary positions: University of California (USC) Los Angeles; Monash University in Melbourne, Shanghai University, MacquarieUniversity in Sydney, University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. He is founding co-Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Internet of Things (ACM TIoT) as well as Editor-in-Chief of Computing (Springer). He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, ACM Computing Surveys, ACM Transactions on the Web, and ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, as well as on the editorial board of IEEE Internet Computing and IEEE Computer.
Dr. Dustdar is the recipient of multiple awards: IEEE TCSVC Outstanding Leadership Award (2018), IEEE TCSC Award for Excellence in Scalable Computing (2019), TCI Distinguished Service Award 2021 by the IEEE Technical Committee on the Internet (TCI) (2021), ACM Distinguished Scientist (2009), ACM Distinguished Speaker (2021), IBM Faculty Award (2012). He is an elected member of the Academia Europaea: The Academy of Europe, where he is chairman of the Informatics Section, as well as an IEEE Fellow (2016) and an Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) Fellow and president (2021).

Dr. Gottfried Vossen has been a Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Muenster in Germany since 1993. He is the Dean of the School of Business and Economics at Münster, a Fellow of the German Computer Science Society and an Honorary Professor at the University of Waikato Management School in Hamilton, New Zealand. He is also European Co-Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier’s Information Systems – An International Journal, and a Director of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) in Muenster. His research interests include conceptual as well as application-oriented challenges concerning databases and information systems, business process modelling, digitalization, digital business models, cloud computing, and big data. Dr. Vossen is CEO and a co-founder of Janus Innovation GmbH and of the consulting cooperative digital ganz normal eG, both headquartered in Ahaus, Germany, which advise enterprises in data and process-related challenges in the context of digitalization.

Dr. Chen received the Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2005. He is a Changjiang Scholars Chair Professor with the Department of Control Science and Engineering, the vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Zhejiang University.  He serves on the multiple editorial boards of IEEE Transactions, and the General Co-chairs for IEEE RTCSA’19, IEEE Datacom’19, etc.   His research interests include IoT, bigdata and networking, networked control, cyber security. He is an IEEE VTS Distinguished Lecturer and a Fellow of IEEE.

Title: Spatio-Temporal Forecasting Models for Renewable Energy

Prof. O-Joun Lee

Dr. O-Joun Lee has been an assistant professor at the Catholic University of Korea, Rep. of Korea, since September 2021. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chung-Ang University in 2019. He also received B.Eng. degree in Software Science from Dankook University in 2015. Also, he was a full-time researcher at Pohang University of Science and Technology, Rep. of Korea, from September 2019 to August 2021. His research topics are networked data analysis based on unsupervised/self-supervised representation learning and graph convolutional networks. He has applied the networked data analysis models and methods to various unstructured data, such as social media, bibliographic data, medical knowledge base, traffic flow data, etc.
